We studied 1,062 listings on TovGram for the sale of used iPhones in Tbilisi and Batumi from March to August 2026. First, we calculated the overall median prices, and then separately compared models with the same memory size.
We also looked at how the price of the iPhone 16 Pro Max 256 GB changed over the year, and how much you can save when buying a used iPhone 17 Pro Max instead of a new one. We present the details in this article.
Median Prices for iPhones
If you compare all 1,062 iPhone sale listings for the specified period, phones in Batumi appear slightly more expensive. The median price of a used iPhone there was 1,450 GEL versus 1,400 GEL in Tbilisi. But such a comparison does not take into account the assortment: one city may have more recent Pro Max models, while the other may have more base models from previous generations.
For the table, we grouped the listings by model and memory size and included only those options for which there were at least ten listings in each city. Here’s what we got.

How Used iPhone Prices Change Over the Year
To see how prices changed, we chose the used iPhone 16 Pro Max 256 GB and compared prices from the summer of 2025 and the summer of 2026. In June–August 2025, the median price for this model was 3,000 GEL. In the same months of 2026, it dropped to 2,500 GEL — about 17% less.
How Much You Can Save on a Used Device
For the iPhone 17 Pro Max with 256 GB of memory, the median price of a used device in June–August 2026 was 3,600 GEL. For comparison, in September 2026 a new iPhone 17 Pro Max 256 GB cost 3,849 GEL at Zoommer and 4,049 GEL at Apple's official partner iSpace.
If you take the average price of the two retail offers — 3,949 GEL — buying a used phone will save almost 350 GEL, or 9%. Depending on the chosen store, the actual difference is from 249 to 449 GEL.
