Epsolar has released a new budget series of Epever controllers with the "E" index, distinguished by an attractively low price and at the same time being a reliable solution for low-power solar panels.
Controllers with the "U" index have a USB output with a voltage of 5 volts and current up to 1.2 amperes for charging tablets, phones, and other devices from solar power.
The LS2024EU solar panel controller supports operation with panels up to 300 W at 12 volts or up to 600 W at 24 volts.
The system voltage (12 or 24 volts) is selected automatically by the controller based on measuring the voltage of the connected batteries. The voltage of the solar batteries connected to the controller must equal the voltage of the connected battery (i.e., it is not possible, for example, to use a solar battery with a voltage of 24 V to charge a 12 V battery). This is a feature of all PWM-type charge controllers.
The controller allows selection of the battery type and can operate with gel, AGM, and automotive lead-acid flooded batteries.
