Hiking in the Truso Valley, excursion on Christianity in Georgia

Friends!!!

On September 27, we’re going hiking in the Truso Valley (we’ll drive there by jeep). We’re going far into the valley and hiking from the more remote locations! Thanks to the jeep, we can hike deep into the valley, as far as the medieval Zakagori Fortress (above the border guards’ camp). The furthest point.

On September 30 (Wednesday), we’ll be taking part in an educational tour from the “CHRISTIANITY IN GEORGIA” series. The tour will be led by a historian and certified guide to Georgia. There will be lots of beautiful places, ancient legends, historical facts, and stories about people who played an important role in strengthening Orthodoxy in Georgia.
