Kotya is looking for a home

Kotya was not taken along when his owners moved to another country, so without any survival skills he was left to survive on the street.

Recently, he was badly attacked by other cats — skin was torn off half of his neck, and the wound was huge.

He spent one night at my place: he crawled under the blanket, nuzzled his nose in, and purred calmly beside me while I worked.

He has now been in the hospital for the second week. The wound is healing well, and it is time for him to be discharged.

I cannot keep him because of my allergy. Returning him to the street is frightening — a domesticated and weakened cat may not survive there.

I really want to find him a permanent home so that he can become a house cat again.

A little about his health:

• Tests for infections have been conducted (FPV / FCoV / Giardia).

• In the future, Kotya needs to be vaccinated, neutered, and have a couple of diseased teeth removed.
