Dog Po is looking for a home or urban foster care

🪄 We are looking for an urban foster home, a forever home, or at least someone who knows how to lift the curse from fantastic dogs who have been homeless for criminally long.

Because it is simply impossible to be this wonderful and belong to no one!

Meet Po. Almost two years of pure charm, tenderness, energy, and the most steadfast ears in Adjara—and already a year and a half of waiting for his person.

🩵 Po, 1 year and 9 months old, Border Collie mix, 24 kg. Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, with a passport and ears capable of picking up signals from space.

🩵 An active, kind, gentle boy. He loves swimming, crunching kibble, covering kilometers, and generally living life to the fullest with all his doggy might. An excellent companion candidate for people who love movement, walks, and adventures.

🩵 Familiar with a leash and apartment living. He currently lives at a countryside foster home, so we very much want to find him a temporary home in the city to refresh his urban-dog skills and increase his chances of finally meeting his family.

A year and a half ago, we took Po from a shelter in the midst of an incredibly snowy winter. Since then, he has grown into a luxurious, stately, absolutely wonderful dog. He now has practically everything needed for a happy dog’s life. Except, in fact, life with his person.

✈️ Po is in Georgia but is ready to travel home practically anywhere in the world. Our former rescues live in Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Poland, Germany, Canada, Lithuania, and Latvia. We will help organize the move.

Not on a chain, not in an enclosure, not to work as a shepherd. But to a home. To be loved, go for walks, explore the world, and sleep on the sofa.

How you can help Po right now:

🙏 Take him into an apartment foster home in Batumi for at least three weeks. This is very important help: Po needs to remember city life, and we need to better prepare him for moving to a permanent family. Food, a bed, bowls, and toys will all be provided.

❤️ Take him home forever. The geography is not limited to Georgia. We consider responsible families worldwide.

📣 Help spread the word. Tell your friends about Po, share the post, or place the announcement in your city or country. Sometimes a single repost changes an entire dog’s life.

We do not know why Po is still not home. But we really want him to one day stop being the hero of endless family-search announcements and simply become someone’s beloved dog.
